Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Sunday to you and stopping by today. My card is fall themed and includes many of the gorgeous colours associated with autumn.

Happy Thanksgiving Frame

I started with a kraft card panel and stamped the small leaves from the Gerda Steiner Cheerful Hedgehogs set with Versamark ink. On a smaller piece of white card stock, I stamped the Happy sentiment in Gold Sparkle Embossing Glitter, and the Thanksgiving with Peeled Paint Distress Oxide ink. I used my watercolour pencils in fall colours to fill the open space. I stamped the small leaves to the left of the sentiment with the gold embossing glitter. I decided to mat the card panel onto a piece of patterned paper that’s filled with images of food preparation. As a final embellishment, I added a small piece of ephemera to the top left of the panel, which I then mounted to a white card base.

This is an entry for the following:

Kat Scrappiness October – Welcome Fall
Double Trouble Challenge #12 – Halloween or Fall
Joy Clair October Challenge – Crisp Days and Cozy Nights
Penny Black and More – October: Autumn Splendour
Dare2BArtzy October Challenge – Fall

Thank you for checking out my blog and I hope you have a lovely week.

  1. Inkami, I’ve been waiting for a card from you to include one of the many die cut frames that you got in your random draw Bag of Things from Double Trouble….when I opened your entry you put a smile on my face. Nicely put together card and love your personal stamped design paper and hat you used the die-cut frame with your pretty embossed sentiment and coloring. Thanks for sharing with us at Double Trouble again, and hope you come back using more of your things from the Bag. Today we start a 1-week special 5th Monday Challenge with “Something, Anything and Everything”…would love you to challenge us on how many of the things you can use on a project for this challenge.

Thank you. I really appreciate the die cuts I received and I’m trying to save them for your challenges. I made a card for challenge #11 but forgot to upload it. I’ve already started on the 5th Monday Challenge.
