Stay cozy

Hello crafty friend, I hope you’re having a great week so far. I’m sharing a multi-layered card that’s winter themed.

stay cozy card

I started with a piece of snowflake patterned paper that’s 4.5″X6″ and stuck this to a card base. I cut a diagonal frame and a postage frame from purple, blue and white card stock. I stacked 2 diagonal frames and stuck it to the outer edge of the card. I cut some snowflakes from glitter paper, and stuck 2 purple snowflakes behind 2 white ones, offsetting them a tad.

I stamped the sentiment from the Unity Stamp Company Stay Cozy set on a white strip, added a fishtail and a thin strip of purple to set it off from the background. I stuck the sentiment to the card with glue and a snowflake to the left. I stamped, watercoloured and fussy cut the image from Unity’s Dream of Being set.

I stuck 3 postage frames together, stuck the image to the bottom left and a snowflake to the top right. I stuck 3 more frames on top, offsetting the blue stack so the glitter paper would peek through. I stuck the last snowflake on the frame to complete the card.
