Hello crafty friend, I hope you’ve had an enjoyable week. I’m sharing an ocean themed birthday card with a watercoloured and stencilled background.
I started with a piece of watercolour paper and used several blues to colour the background. I used a scallop stencil and blended some darker blue ink on the panel. I used a circle die to cut out the middle of the panel. I stamped, coloured and fussy cut the images. I added the outer panel with foam tape to a card base, then stuck the circle into the opening. I added the images with glue and foam tape to create the scene. I die cut the letters for “fishy” and stacked them. I stamped the other words with black ink then stuck the letters to finish the sentiment. To complete the card I added some glitter drops over the letters.
